Quality Assurance & Scientific Affairs

At Qaiwan International University (QIU), academic excellence is not a goal—it is a commitment. The Directorate of Quality Assurance and Scientific Affairs (QASA) serves as the university’s central authority for assuring and advancing the quality of education in line with Kurdistan regional and international standards. Through carefully designed quality frameworks, QASA positions QIU as a leading institution dedicated to excellence, credibility, and global recognition. The Directorate oversees all quality assurance activities related to teaching, learning, research, and scientific development across the university. Its responsibilities include establishing and implementing quality assurance policies, conducting continuous evaluation of academic programs, and embedding a culture of improvement at every institutional level. By aligning academic practices with both regional and global benchmarks, QASA ensures high-quality educational and research outcomes, strengthens QIU’s academic reputation, and delivers an enriched learning experience for students.
